When Abbie Preston walks into her studio every day, she doesn’t know what her spark of creativity will create. Preston started Box Sparrow Studio in 2013, located in downtown Houston. She trained as an apprentice to a studio potter, who taught her the behind the scenes part of owning a studio.

Helen Choi is the owner of Luce Ave Coffee Roasters, and a coffee roaster and creative coffee enthusiast. She pursued her passion and opened two coffee shops with her Co-Founder, who runs the one in South Korea. Luce Ave Coffee Roasters is a local roaster in Houston, Texas, which opened in 2017. They offer the unique experience to watch on-site the coffee roasting process and the production of high quality handcrafted beverages.
