Salvador Melgar grew up at “Peña Blanca,” his father’s coffee farm at “Palencias,” under the famous “Sierra de Las Minas” mountains in North East Guatemala. He is preserving the culture of coffee farming for his family and for the land. He specializes in the Bourbon, Pache, and Catual varieties due to their higher quality, even though they produce a lower volume than other varieties.
